The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has commenced phased renovations at the Motjane Training Centre to upgrade the facility for skills development, administration, and collaborative work.

Located in the western part of the country, the training centre plays a key role in supporting capacity-building efforts within the Ministry. The refurbishment is designed to improve both functionality and safety, with upgrades being carried out in stages to minimise disruptions.

Renovation work includes the complete overhaul of the walkway corridor, improvements to office spaces, and the modernisation of the conference room for meetings and workshops. The library is also being upgraded to support learning and research, while the ablution facilities are being redesigned to meet hygiene and accessibility standards.
