MBABANE – MTN Eswatini has pledged continued support towards building a digitally inclusive economy, sharing its initiatives during the Eswatini Investment Conference 2025 held in Mbabane this week.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer joined a panel that discussed how technology can help grow the economy, equip youth with practical skills, and create jobs. During the session, he spoke about MTN’s network coverage, which now reaches 98% of the country, making it easier for people to access fast and reliable internet.
MTN also used the platform to talk about its work through the MTN Foundation, which has been rolling out internet access to rural schools and offering digital skills training. These efforts are aimed at giving young people, especially in underserved communities, a fair chance in the digital economy.
The MTN Skills Academy, which provides free online learning, is one of the company’s tools for bridging the digital gap and supporting Eswatini’s development goals.
