EU-funded project trains 150 Lesotho journalists on child labour

Maseru – World Vision Lesotho has concluded a two-day training for journalists focused on child labour and forced labour reporting, bringing the total number of journalists trained under a European Union-funded initiative to 150 nationwide.

The training, held under the Accelerating Action for Eliminating Child and Forced Labour project, equipped 33 journalists with the knowledge and skills needed to report on child protection issues responsibly and ethically.

The project is funded by the European Union in Lesotho and implemented in partnership with MISA Lesotho, the Lesotho Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Social Development.
