MBABANE – A new Board of Directors has been appointed to steer the Eswatini Medical Christian University (EMCU), following an announcement by the Minister for Education and Training, Owen Nxumalo.
The newly appointed board is chaired by Dr. Boy Bongani Dlamini. Other members include Mr. Philemon Mgabhi, Mr. Nkosingiphile Magagula, Ms. Susan Mourdant from the Ministry of Finance, Prof. Paul Yang representing EMCU, Dr. Buyisile Dladla from the Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Sandile Zwane, and Ms. Hlobsile Grace Nxumalo.
Nxumalo made the announcement during a formal event in Mbabane, where he urged the board to work collectively in support of the university’s mission. 
He also called on the Students Representative Council to collaborate with the board in resolving institutional challenges through dialogue rather than strike actions.
