BOSS centre to go live on 21 July

MBABANE – Business owners will soon have access to streamlined registration services as the Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) prepares to begin full operations on 21 July 2025.

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo toured the BOSS centre yesterday to inspect its operational readiness and observe progress in system integration. The facility, managed by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), is designed to ease business registration processes by centralising key services.

During the minister’s visit, EIPA officials walked him through the centre, demonstrating how internal systems have been connected and services digitised. The team confirmed that several functions are already running and that full service delivery will commence later this month.

The BOSS facility will initially offer one-month work permits through coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Additional services, including longer-term permits and registrations, will be introduced in phases.

Eligible investors with operations valued at E2 million and above are expected to benefit from the service, which aims to reduce delays and eliminate the need to visit multiple offices.
