Mbabane police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Thembelihle on March 9, 2026, at around 23:45.
A 53-year-old man from the area and his family were asleep when three men wearing balaclavas entered their home through the bathroom. The suspects, armed with a pistol, attacked the family and held them hostage.
The intruders demanded that the victim transfer money to their mobile money account. Following their instructions, he transferred E9,000. During the ordeal, the suspects also stole a watch and a necklace valued at E18,000.
