Malkerns – MTN Bushfire has opened pre-registration for online tickets ahead of its 20th edition, with Early Bird sales scheduled to begin at 10am on Friday, October 23, 2026.
Festival organisers are encouraging music and arts enthusiasts to register ahead of the sales launch to improve their chances of securing the sought after discounted tickets for the landmark event.
Pre-registration opened on Tuesday, October 20, through the official registration link, https://bit.ly/20thEditionPreReg. However, organisers have clarified that registering does not guarantee access to Early Bird tickets, which are expected to attract strong demand.
The 20th edition marks a significant milestone for MTN Bushfire, one of Eswatini’s best known cultural events, which brings together local and international performers, artists and festivalgoers.
Discounted tickets for emaSwati will also be available through the MTN MoMo WhatsApp Marketplace from Friday, October 23. Unlike the online Early Bird ticket process, customers purchasing through the MoMo platform will not need to pre-register.
Buyers will, however, need a valid MTN MoMo account to access the specially priced tickets, which form part of the continued partnership between MTN Eswatini and MTN Bushfire to make the festival more accessible to local audiences.
MTN Eswatini is also preparing additional benefits for festivalgoers as part of the celebrations marking the event’s 20th anniversary.
The telecommunications company will include a complimentary MTN Monthly Lula Combo with every ticket purchased. The bundle can be redeemed during the festival week, giving ticket holders an additional connectivity benefit while attending the event.
MTN Eswatini will also return as the festival’s official Wi-Fi provider, offering a free voucher with every ticket for access to the MTN Bushfire Wi-Fi network.
Beyond the performances and cultural activities, the connectivity arrangements are intended to help attendees stay connected and share their festival experiences.
Online ticket sales will open alongside camping packages offered by the festival’s official camping and glamping partners, allowing visitors to plan both their attendance and accommodation ahead of the event.
Festivalgoers can follow announcements and further ticketing information through the official website, www.bush-fire.com, and MTN Bushfire’s social media platforms under the handle @MTNBushfire.
