Mbabane — The 2025 Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) will be officially launched this Friday, 16 May, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini.
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Hon. Manqoba Khumalo, is expected to preside over the ceremony, which signals the start of preparations for the country’s flagship trade and business event.
Organised by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) under the Ministry of Commerce, the launch will bring together over 100 stakeholders, including key sponsors, exhibitors, media, and development partners. This year’s theme will be revealed at the event, along with a preview of the fair’s revamped identity and offerings.
EIPA Chief Executive Officer Sibani Mngomezulu said the fair provides a critical platform for both public and private sector players to engage with consumers through exhibitions, product demonstrations, and business networking. The event will also feature family entertainment and soccer games as part of its side attractions.

A new EITF brand identity will be unveiled during the launch. EIPA Domestic Trade Manager Siphesihle Nkhabindze said the rebranding effort represents the trade fair’s evolution, while retaining its historical and cultural roots. The redesigned logo and image aim to reflect the ambition and resilience of the fair as a leading trade promotion platform.
First held in 1968 as the Swaziland Independence Exhibition in Manzini, the Eswatini International Trade Fair has grown into one of the country’s most recognised economic showcases. It has drawn participation from nations such as the USA, Netherlands, Taiwan, Portugal, and South Africa.
Today, the annual event continues to attract local and international exhibitors and serves as a meeting point for businesses and consumers across the region.
