HLUTHI – The Ministry of Public Works and Transport is currently rehabilitating a 14-kilometre stretch of road along the Hluthi Central–Manzawayo–Bambitje–KaGamedze–Our Lady of Sorrows corridor as part of its Manzawayo Project.
The spot regravelling works are focused on the most damaged and critical sections of the route to improve accessibility and ensure safer travel for residents, schools, clinics, and other service providers operating in the area.
Communities set to benefit from the road improvement include Hluthi Central, Manzawayo, Shisizwe, and KaGamedze. Key institutions such as Hluthi Central High School, Bambitje Primary School, Our Lady of Sorrows School, and Nsalitje Clinic fall within the affected corridor.
