Windhoek – The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) is taking part in the ongoing Namibia International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (NICSC), where discussions are centred on emerging cyber threats, digital resilience, and securing Africa’s digital future.
The conference, currently underway in Windhoek, brings together regional stakeholders to explore strategies for combating cyber risks and strengthening defences across the continent. NamRA’s participation is focused on protecting taxpayer data and safeguarding the country’s digital infrastructure.
NamRA Chief Information Officer Melanie Tjijenda is leading several sessions at the conference. She moderated an executive dialogue on regional cooperation in cybersecurity and facilitated a discussion on developing local skills, with attention to training programmes, professional certifications, and strategies to grow the cybersecurity workforce.
