POLOKWANE, South Africa – Sekhukhune United were forced to share the spoils after a 1-1 draw with AmaZulu FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night, while Golden Arrows secured a 2-1 victory over Magesi FC in Umlazi.
AmaZulu took the lead in the 17th minute through Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya and carried the advantage into halftime. The visitors controlled much of the second half, but Sekhukhune found a late equaliser in the 86th minute when Ronaldo Maarman struck to rescue a point for the log leaders.
AmaZulu finished the match with 10 men after Riaan Hanamub received a red card in stoppage time. The result leaves Usuthu in sixth place with seven points from four games, while Sekhukhune remain top of the table on 10 points.

At King Zwelithini Stadium, Magesi FC started brightly with Mcedi Vandala’s 10th-minute goal. Arrows responded immediately after the restart, with Junior Dion levelling the score. Siphelele Dlamini later netted the winner to seal victory for Manqoba Mngqithi’s side.
The win lifts Golden Arrows to fifth place on the table, while John Maduka’s Magesi are bottom in 15th place after four matches.
