EIPA trains local businesses on exporting

Manzini – The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) hosted an Export Guide workshop yesterday at the FNB Business Chamber, targeting prospective exporters.

The event formed part of the Trade Fair Business Seminar Series and follows the recent launch of the Export Guide 2025, a 10-step manual designed to help local enterprises navigate the export process.

Participants were taken through key steps including assessing export readiness, conducting market research, developing an export plan, managing logistics, handling customs clearance, securing trade finance, and entering foreign markets.

Thandeka Dlamini, Manager for External Trade Promotion at EIPA, said the workshop was meant to simplify what many businesses view as a complex process. She noted that exporting could unlock growth opportunities for Eswatini businesses, and the Export Guide 2025 provides them with practical tools to compete regionally and internationally.
