Mbabane hospital services back to normal after blackout

Mbabane – The Ministry of Health has confirmed that the old building of Mbabane Government Hospital has reopened after power was restored on Tuesday afternoon.

The maternity unit and other affected departments are now operating normally following an electrical fault that had forced a temporary closure earlier in the day. A burnt-out circuit breaker had left the maternity wing without electricity, disrupting services and directing patients to other facilities.

Technicians replaced the faulty breaker and restored power, allowing full service delivery to resume. The ministry said maternity clients can once again access care at the hospital and thanked the public for its patience during the disruption.
