Ouaddou praises Dansin after Sundowns goal

Johannesburg – Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou lauded young Cemran Dansin following his spectacular goal against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday. The goal earned the Buccaneers a 1-1 draw in a lively Betway Premiership clash at Loftus Stadium after Peter Shalulile had opened the scoring for the Brazilians.

Ouaddou acknowledged taking a risk by starting Dansin over more experienced players but said giving young talent a chance is essential for their development. He noted that the performance will provide Dansin with valuable experience and reaffirmed his commitment to trusting youth in key matches.

“It’s difficult for a coach because if we had lost, people would question why I played a less experienced player. But I have worked in player development for years, and it’s important to give South African talents the opportunity to shine,” Ouaddou said.
