Ezulwini – Eswatini is hosting around six hundred delegates from across Africa at the annual African Association of Public Administration and Management conference at Esibayeni Lodge in Matsapa. The event, now on its second day, brings together public service experts to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss strategies for strengthening public sector capacity across the continent.
The conference opened yesterday with a vibrant display of Eswatini culture, including a performance by the Salesian Brass Band. Delegates were welcomed with traditional music and ceremonies, showcasing the Kingdom’s rich heritage.
AAPAM, established in 1978 with its first roundtable held in Freetown, Sierra Leone, is an international organisation promoting excellence in public administration and management in Africa. It advances its mission through research, publications, training seminars, consultancy, conferences, and awards. The 2025 edition marks Eswatini’s turn to host the flagship event, following Uganda in 2024.
