Mbabane – The High Commission of India in Mbabane has announced the rollout of the Ministry of External Affairs SEWA Indian Consular Services System starting 01 April 2026, a move aimed at streamlining access to consular services for Indian nationals and foreign residents in Eswatini.

According to a press release issued on 25 March 2026, the digital platform forms part of the Government of India’s Digital India programme designed to deliver a seamless, paperless and user friendly process for consular services. During the initial phase, the SEWA portal will handle several miscellaneous services including attestation of civil documents, attestation of power of attorney, certificate for registration of birth, certificate for registration of death and driving license attestation certificate.
