Malkerns – House on Fire in the Malkerns Valley will once again come alive from 29 to 31 May 2026 as MTN Bushfire unveils another wave of artists for its 19th edition, bringing a mix of circus spectacle, choral power, amapiano heat and lyrical fire to Eswatini.

Festival organisers confirmed that South Africa’s The Cirk will debut at the three day celebration of music and the arts. The collective blends acrobatics, theatre and visual storytelling, delivering roaming performances across the festival grounds rather than remaining fixed to a single stage. Audiences can expect aerial displays, daring physical theatre and surprise acts unfolding in different corners of the arena.

Families are also catered for through Kidzone workshops led by The Cirk, where children will explore rhythm and movement in a playful and secure environment designed to spark creativity.

Eswatini’s own Sooks SZ returns to the Bushfire stage, flying the national flag high. The multi award winning DJ and producer, who also curates Unleash The Wolf events, is known for a cinematic and emotive sound shaped by African drums and electronic influences. With tracks such as Eyesolation, Cry Me A River and Kintsugi earning international spins, his set is expected to fuse feeling with high energy dance moments.

South African lyricist Yugen Blakrok is also on the line up. Rising from the Eastern Cape underground scene to global recognition through her contribution to the Black Panther soundtrack, she has built a reputation for fearless wordplay. Her latest project, The Illusion of Being, marks her return with an experimental and self defined sonic direction. Her appearance is supported by Acción Cultural Española AC E.

Choral sensation Ndlovu Youth Choir will travel from Limpopo’s Moutse Valley to perform at House on Fire. The group gained worldwide attention after reaching the finals of America’s Got Talent and has since released albums including Africa and Rise. Known for vibrant choreography and harmonies delivered in South Africa’s 11 official languages, the ensemble continues to use music as a bridge for unity and cultural pride.

Adding a touch of danger and spectacle, Guinness World Record holder Murray Molloy is set to take to the festival grounds. Known for sword swallowing, fire eating and endurance acts, he once swallowed a sword for 13 minutes and 12 seconds. His global performances have spanned Australia, Laos, Portugal and Fiji, appearing at festivals, night venues and community gatherings. His Bushfire appearance comes in partnership with Culture Ireland.

Amapiano star Young Stunna will also make his way from Daveyton to Eswatini. The vocalist rose to fame with Bopha and strengthened his chart presence with Adiwele, later shaping the sound of contemporary South African music through hits such as Sete and Imithandzo. His set is expected to draw strong support from regional fans.

For younger festival goers and their families, How to Hold the World promises a magical theatrical experience filled with puppetry, moonlit storytelling and imagination, offering a shared adventure for children and adults alike.

MTN Bushfire 2026 takes place at House on Fire in Eswatini from 29 to 31 May, with tickets available through the festival’s official platforms and MoMo marketplace.
