Lusaka, Zambia – Eswatini Air has officially expanded its regional footprint with the launch of its new Lusaka route, connecting the Kingdom of Eswatini directly to Zambia’s capital.
Ahead of the inaugural flight, the airline engaged members of the travel trade in Lusaka during a session aimed at strengthening partnerships and introducing agents to its services. The meeting created space to explore collaboration opportunities and prepare the market for the new connection between the two countries.
Eswatini’s High Commissioner to Zambia, Her Excellency Ms Lindiwe Cynthia Kunene, attended the engagement, lending diplomatic support to the airline’s latest expansion. Her presence signalled the importance of the new route in reinforcing economic and people to people ties between Mbabane and Lusaka.
The inaugural flight is scheduled to depart following the engagement, with Lusaka now accessible through a direct service operated by Eswatini Air. The airline says the route is expected to boost business travel, tourism and trade between the two nations.
With the new service now operational, travellers from Eswatini can fly directly to Lusaka, while Zambian passengers gain easier access to the Kingdom. Bookings are available through the airline’s official website.
