Johannesburg – The Delicious International Food and Music Festival has announced the end of its 12-year headline sponsorship partnership with DStv, saying it is stepping into a new chapter as an independently owned and produced event.

The festival, which is one of South Africa’s most popular lifestyle events and draws attendees from across the region including Eswatini, thanked DStv for more than a decade of support in a statement released this week.

“The Delicious International Food and Music Festival would like to extend sincere thanks to DStv for 12 incredible years as our headline sponsor. Their support has played a meaningful role in shaping the festival into one of South Africa’s most loved lifestyle events,” the statement read.

The organisers were quick to assure fans that the end of the DStv partnership would not affect the quality or character of the event. “The Delicious Festival remains an independently owned and produced event, built to evolve and built to last. We remain committed to delivering the world-class music, exceptional food, and rich cultural experiences that our audience has come to expect,” the statement said.

The festival is scheduled to return on 19 and 20 September 2026 at the Kyalami Grand Prix circuit, maintaining its traditional slot over the Heritage Weekend. Organisers have promised further announcements about the lineup in the coming weeks.
