Gaborone – Botswana’s Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) has hosted a stakeholder consultative workshop on the review and update of the country’s National Radio Frequency Plan (NRFP), bringing together representatives from government, industry, telecommunications, broadcasting and ICT sectors.

The workshop forms part of BOCRA’s approach to inclusive and collaborative regulation, built on the principle that effective spectrum management requires meaningful stakeholder engagement and shared expertise.

BOCRA said the review of the NRFP is essential as technology continues to evolve and new communication needs emerge, to ensure that Botswana’s spectrum resources remain well organised, efficiently utilised and aligned with national development priorities.
