Accra – Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Yussif Issaka Jajah, has met a Brazilian delegation led by content creator and media personality Wode Maya to discuss opportunities for deepening cultural and tourism ties between the two countries.
The delegation extended an invitation for Ghana to participate in the São Paulo Carnival and revealed plans by a leading Brazilian Samba school to feature Ghana as the central theme of its 2027 carnival parade. The showcase is expected to put Ghana’s history, culture, heritage and iconic landmarks before millions of viewers around the world.
Deputy Minister Jajah welcomed the initiative and said the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts remains committed to exploring opportunities that promote Ghana’s culture, strengthen diaspora connections, boost tourism and deepen bilateral relations between Ghana and Brazil.
