WASHINGTON – US president Donald Trump will be celebrating his birthday as he turns 80 on Sunday.
Baby Trump was born to his mother Mary Anne Trump was a Scottish and American socialite and philanthropist and Frederick Christ Trump, a real estate developer on June 14, 1946 at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Centre in Queens, New York.
When recently asked at a signing ceremony in the Oval Office what he wants for his birthday, Trump said he “wants peace for the world,” adding that it’s the same idea he had for this 2026 New Year’s resolution.
“For my birthday, well… Peace for the world, okay. Peace for the world. Middle East, yes. Peace for the whole world,” he said on June 10 in response to journalists in the Oval.
His request comes as the US-Iran confrontation continues, with the US military launching a new wave of strikes against several locations across Iran, calling it off on the third night of attack, and saying a deal between the US and Iran might be struck this weekend. Earlier on a Thursday update, Trump warned that he would attack “very hard” Iran, stating unequivocally that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.
