LONDON, United Kingdom: London based DJ and emerging producer LEEDA has released her new single, “Feel The Love”, a soulful dance record shaped by her experiences in Germany, New York, London and South Africa.
The single blends Deep House, Afro House, Afro Tech and soulful electronic music. It explores the way music connects people across cultures, generations and communities.
LEEDA’s sound has been influenced by her upbringing in Germany, New York’s underground club scene, London’s multicultural music environment and her strong connection to South African house music.
“Feel The Love” reflects her belief that music is more than genres and dance floors. For the producer, it is also about the emotions, memories and relationships created through sound.
Her influences include Afro House and Deep House artists such as Manoo, Culoe De Song and Da Capo.
LEEDA has been developing her production work through collaborations with Gifted23, with whom she released “Breathe” on FOMP, and Zulu Mageba on “Twende”, released through DM.Recordings.
She has also worked with Ed Ward on several unreleased projects, experiences that have helped expand her studio skills and shape her approach to production.
The new single represents an important stage in LEEDA’s move from DJ to producer and recording artist.
Rather than creating music only for the dance floor, she is building a sound that brings together different parts of her identity, including her European upbringing, New York’s underground energy, London’s diverse cultural scene and her connection to South African house music.
Her work as a cultural connector also extends to Blend, a London based platform she founded and curates.
Blend celebrates Deep House and Afro House while creating spaces where artists and music communities can meet, discover new sounds and build connections.
The platform brings together people from different backgrounds, generations and perspectives through a shared love of music.
With “Feel The Love”, LEEDA is preparing for further collaborations, international audiences and a wider body of work that reflects her developing artistic identity.
The single is out now.
