A five-day entrepreneurship training programme has successfully equipped 20 members of Eswatini Sexual Gender Minorities (ESGM) with practical business skills, marking a milestone in the push for inclusive economic empowerment.

Held at the SEDCO Manzini Estate, the workshop focused on foundational business management, with participants showing strong commitment and a drive to succeed as future business owners.

Khethiwe Mhlanga, CEO of SEDCO, addressed the new entrepreneurs during the closing session, offering practical advice rooted in today’s competitive business environment. She stressed the power of digital marketing and urged participants to take ownership of their branding.

“To stand out, you need to be clear and specific with your branding and pricing,” Mhlanga said. “Your name is your brand—sell it and live it. On social media, strong branding makes all the difference.”
