Her Majesty the Indlovukazi of Eswatini met with Turkey’s First Lady, Emine Erdoğan, today at one of the State Palaces in Istanbul during her ongoing private visit to the country.
The meeting forms part of efforts by the Queen Mother to strengthen Eswatini’s bilateral relationships, particularly with countries she has visited during this international engagement. Turkey and Eswatini share diplomatic ties that have spanned more than four decades.
The First Lady hosted Her Majesty and her delegation to a luncheon, where both leaders also held closed-door talks. Discussions centred on enhancing cooperation and exploring areas of mutual interest. 
In a gesture of goodwill, the Indlovukazi presented Emine Erdoğan with a selection of traditional Swati items, including Emahiya garments and natural skincare products from Swazi Secrets.
