MALKERNS – FNB Eswatini has pledged E300 000 to support the upcoming MTN Bushfire Festival, set to run from May 31 to June 1 at the Malendela lawns in Malkerns. The bank’s sponsorship was officially announced yesterday afternoon at House on Fire, Malendela.
As the festival’s official banking partner, FNB will provide a range of on-site financial services, including account openings, customer support, and digital assistance via kiosks for its app and online banking users. For the first time, festival-goers can also visit the new FNB Creative Corner, where professional artists will help customise festival gear.
The MTN Bushfire Festival, now in its 18th year, is one of Africa’s leading music and cultural events, attracting visitors from around the world. The 2025 edition embraces the theme “Creativity, Unity, Sustainability,” which mirrors FNB’s commitment to community development and the arts.
Chantell Littler, Executive Head of Commercial Banking at FNB Eswatini, described the sponsorship as a reflection of the bank’s dedication to supporting local creativity and culture. Meanwhile, Sholto Thorne of the MTN Bushfire team said reliable banking services are essential to the festival’s smooth operation and overall success.
