Mbabane – Music lovers across Eswatini are getting ready for a global celebration of sound as the Alliance Française de Mbabane prepares to host its annual Fête de la Musique on June 21, 2025. The event, promising an “unforgettable” experience, kicks off at 3 PM at the Alliance Française premises, located conveniently behind the Ministry of Education.
Organizers are pulling out all the stops to ensure a diverse musical feast, featuring a wide array of genres to get everyone on their feet. Attendees can expect to groove to everything from smooth R&B and jazzy soul to energetic hip-hop and infectious Afrobeat rhythms, alongside many other styles designed to keep the dance floor buzzing. This year’s Fête de la Musique is being billed as a vibrant celebration of sound, culture, and community connection.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Alliance Française offices. Music enthusiasts can snag pre-sale tickets for E100, while those opting to buy at the gate will pay E150. Members of the Alliance Française enjoy a discounted rate of E80. Students aged 13-17 can enter for just E50 upon presenting a valid student ID, and children under 13 years old get in for free.
The event is set to feature performances by local talents including Zwile, Sarnilo, Amarii, and DJ Stickxx.
