MBABANE – Rest in Christ Ministries has broken its silence on the recent media reports involving its leader, Bishop Dr. J.V. Hlatshwako, and his family.
In a public statement, the church acknowledged it was aware of the reports and described the situation as deeply saddening for the community. The ministry recognised the emotional toll the developments have taken on everyone involved.
The statement called on the church community and the public to join in prayer for the family, asking for wisdom, restoration, and peace during what it called a “time of great challenge.”
While not going into the details of the reports, the ministry appealed directly to the nation and the media to allow the Hlatshwako family the space and dignity needed to address their private affairs. The church stated that it remains an independent spiritual body committed to the principles of compassion, healing, and reconciliation.
