Luju festival announces park and ride schedule

MALKERNS — Organisers of the 2025 Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival have released the park and ride timetable for attendees travelling from major towns to the festival site.

The festival runs on 1 and 2 August under the theme “A Return to the African Future.” To ease transport, a park and ride service will operate from four pick-up points: Mbabane (The Mall Pick n Pay), Gables (outside Spur), Manzini (Riverstone Mall parking via Standard Bank main branch), and Mahhala (Jet Stores/SAAB Complex).

    Mbabane: 15:00 to 22:00 (hourly)
    Gables: 15:30 to 22:30 (hourly)
    Manzini: 15:00 to 22:00 (hourly)
    Mahhala: 15:30 to 22:30 (hourly)

Saturday, 2 August

  • To Luju Festival:
    Mbabane: 09:00 to 22:00 (hourly)
    Gables: 09:30 to 22:30 (hourly)
    Manzini: 09:00 to 22:00 (hourly)
    Mahhala: 09:30 to 22:30 (hourly)
  • From Luju Festival:
    To Mbabane: 12:00 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Gables: 12:30 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Manzini: 12:30 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Mahhala: 12:30 to 03:30 (hourly)
  • Evening return trips (Saturday only):
    To Mbabane: 18:00 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Gables: 18:30 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Manzini: 18:30 to 03:00 (hourly)
    To Mahhala: 18:30 to 03:30 (hourly)

Each trip costs E40 per passenger. The park and ride service is designed to help festival-goers enjoy the event without worrying about parking or traffic delays.
