New offices and workshops open for biomedical and HMIS units

Mbabane – The Ministry of Health officially received keys to newly constructed offices and workshops at the former CMS complex on Monday, September 22, 2025. The facilities were developed under the Health Systems Strengthening for Capital Human Development Project, funded through a World Bank loan.

Acting Minister for Health Appolo Maphalala received the handover and called on staff to restore the efficiency of the health sector. He urged employees to work diligently, serve with honesty, and ensure accountability in managing projects.

The Minister also cautioned against corruption, even in minor tasks, and reminded officials of their responsibility to uphold the reputation of government institutions. The new offices and workshops will house the Biomedical and HMIS units, supporting improved management of health services across the country.
