Eswatini concludes 44th AAPAM conference

Matsapha – The 44th Annual African Association of Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) roundtable conference officially concluded today at Esibayeni Lodge in Matsapa, with the Minister for Public Service, Mabulala Maseko, delivering the closing remarks. Maseko expressed deep gratitude to AAPAM for selecting Eswatini as the host country and highlighted the Kingdom’s pride in hosting such an important event.

“As the host nation for the 44th Annual AAPAM roundtable conference, we are deeply honored that the AAPAM family chose Eswatini. We trust that during your stay, you did not only experience a conference venue but also the heart of our nation,” said Maseko.

The five-day conference featured participants from across Africa, including government officials, civil society members, and public service experts. Delegates presented research papers on innovative methods to improve public administration and management across the continent. The event also provided a platform for exchanging ideas on strengthening public sector capacity in Africa.

The annual conference rotates between different African countries, with Eswatini hosting this year’s event in close collaboration with the country’s relevant ministries and public service institutions. Next year, the 45th conference will be held in the Kingdom of Lesotho.
