Sikhupe – Prime Minister Russell Dlamini returned to Eswatini last night from Nairobi, Kenya, where he represented His Majesty King Mswati III at the Africa Forward Summit, a high-level gathering co-hosted by Kenya and France that brought together heads of state and government from across Africa and beyond.
Addressing the nation on his return, the Prime Minister said the summit tackled critical issues affecting the continent, with strong focus placed on ensuring Africans remain at the forefront of the African economy.

“The message was clear: for Africa to move forward, every African citizen must benefit from the continent’s vast resources and opportunities,” Dlamini said.
Key discussions at the summit covered economic growth, business development, healthcare, peace and security, among others, all aimed at advancing sustainable development across Africa.
Dlamini said African leaders reached strong consensus on the need for governments to support African businesses and champion mega projects capable of unlocking economic transformation across the continent. He said this aligns with Eswatini’s national vision of attracting large-scale investments to accelerate growth and create opportunities for emaSwati.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Prime Minister held talks with renowned African industrialist Aliko Dangote and extended a formal invitation for him to visit Eswatini and explore potential investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
Dlamini also congratulated Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron for successfully hosting the summit and fostering meaningful dialogue on Africa’s future.
