Brazzaville, Republic of Congo – SADC Executive Secretary H.E. Elias M. Magosi met with the President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), H.E. Abdullah KH Almusaibeeh, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, on the sidelines of the African Development Bank Annual Meetings in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.
The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between SADC and BADEA on regional integration, infrastructure development, industrialisation, trade and sustainable economic growth across the SADC region, which includes Eswatini.
Talks also covered opportunities for greater collaboration in getting the SADC Regional Development Fund off the ground, financing infrastructure, and supporting regional development corridors and investment initiatives.
