Waterford students explore innovation at RSTP

Matsapha – Students from Waterford KaMhlaba visited the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP) for a learning tour that introduced them to the park’s service offerings, career opportunities, and the role of Special Economic Zones in the Kingdom.

During the visit, learners took particular interest in Coders Eswatini, an initiative aimed at making digital education accessible to all Emaswati. The platform is the product of a collaboration between the Ministry of Information Communications and Technology and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, facilitated through the RSTP and Udacity Academy.

Coders Eswatini offers free online artificial intelligence courses designed to help Emaswati understand AI and choose career paths, whether they are students, professionals, or retirees. The initiative aims to equip 300,000 Swazi citizens with essential digital skills.

The courses on offer include AI Fundamentals, Data Science Fundamentals, Programming Fundamentals, and Android Development Fundamentals.
