Lagos, Nigeria – PalmPay has launched a new customer focused campaign in Nigeria aimed at strengthening confidence in its digital financial services while helping users make better use of security tools available on the platform.

The campaign, known as ‘PalmPay Dey For You’, comes as concerns over the safety, stability and reliability of financial services continue to attract attention among Nigerian consumers.

PalmPay said the initiative is designed to reassure its customers that the company remains committed to providing secure and reliable financial services, supported by regulatory oversight, security systems and customer protection measures.

The fintech company is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), while eligible customer deposits are insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

Millions of Nigerians use PalmPay for services such as money transfers, bill payments, savings and other everyday financial needs.

According to the company, the campaign is based on the idea that customers should be able to access and use their money with confidence while understanding the measures available to protect their accounts.

A major component of the campaign is PalmPay’s Security Center, which provides customers with tools intended to give them greater control over their accounts and transactions.

Among the features is Location Guard, which allows users to register up to six trusted locations. PalmPay said the feature provides an additional layer of protection against suspicious activity from locations that have not been authorised by the customer.

The platform also offers NightGuard, which provides additional protection during periods selected by customers. Other security tools within the application allow users to review and strengthen their account protection.

PalmPay has also introduced quick response options for customers who lose access to their phones or cards.

Customers can lock their PalmPay accounts by dialling *861*12#, while cards can be locked through *861*7*5#.

The company has further upgraded its dispute management system through a dedicated Dispute Page, allowing customers to submit and track transaction disputes directly through the PalmPay application.

PalmPay Nigeria Managing Director Chika Nwosu said trust remains central to the company’s relationship with its customers.

“Trust is fundamental to banking. Customers need to know that the institution they rely on is regulated, secure, dependable, and available when they need it. At PalmPay, protecting our customers and giving them greater control over their banking experience is central to how we operate.

“‘PalmPay Dey For You’ reinforces that commitment. We want customers to understand the security tools available to them, use those tools confidently, and know that PalmPay remains a reliable financial partner for their everyday needs.”

The campaign will use educational material, frequently asked questions, customer forums and product based communication to provide information on account security, fraud awareness and measures users can take to protect their accounts.

PalmPay said its approach is based on building security into the customer experience rather than relying on protective measures only after problems occur.

The company said convenience, value and security should form part of the same customer experience as it continues to expand its financial services offering in Nigeria.
