Eswatini hosted a business luncheon today for a delegation of Taiwanese investors, signaling the kingdom’s continued push to attract foreign investment, particularly in the energy and mining sectors.
Held by the Embassy of Taiwan, the event drew senior government officials including the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy, HRH Prince Lonkhokhela; the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade; Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA); and key stakeholders. The Taiwanese delegation is in the country for the official opening of the Strategic Fuel Reserve Facility by His Majesty King Mswati III.
Addressing the gathering, HRH Prince Lonkhokhela said Eswatini is ready to welcome investment across various sectors and remains committed to building an investor-friendly climate. He invited the Taiwanese investors to consider opportunities in the kingdom’s natural resources, highlighting the government’s support for new partnerships. 
EIPA delivered a detailed presentation outlining the available investment opportunities, policies, and incentives.
The official launch of the Strategic Fuel Reserve Facility is scheduled for this evening at the Lozitha Royal Palace, marking a major milestone in Eswatini’s energy security efforts.
