The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has launched a workshop in Mbabane to prepare industry professionals for the country’s upcoming sectional titles examination.
Held in collaboration with the Surveyor General’s Office, the session was aimed at architects and surveyors who are responsible for drafting sectional plans. It marked the first workshop of its kind conducted by the Sectional Titles Examinations Committee, the statutory body overseeing qualifications in this area.
The workshop took place ahead of the national examination set for 20 May, part of efforts to expand the number of certified practitioners as Eswatini continues to roll out its sectional titles programme. Participants were guided through the legal and technical requirements involved in preparing draft sectional plans.
Officials from both the ministry and the Surveyor General’s Office led the session.
