MBABANE – On Friday, 16 May 2025, Standard Bank Eswatini donated E50 000 to Vukani BoMake to support rural women through sustainable development and skills training initiatives.
The partnership, officially announced last Friday, focuses on building the capacity of women in remote communities to improve their livelihoods. Vukani BoMake, a local non-profit, is known for its grassroots work with women in areas often overlooked by mainstream development efforts.
Standard Bank said the donation aligns with its purpose of driving Eswatini’s growth by supporting organisations that create meaningful, long-term impact. The funding will help expand Vukani BoMake’s outreach and strengthen its training programmes designed to promote self-reliance and economic inclusion.
The bank described the initiative as an investment in dignity and resilience, noting that when women are empowered, entire communities benefit.
