The Ministry of Agriculture recently visited farmers supported by the Eswatini Agriculture Development Fund (EADF) to assess how the funding is improving agricultural productivity. The visits took place across various regions where beneficiaries are advancing their agribusinesses.
At Mkhitsini, Msimisi Shabangu cultivates beans on two hectares alongside vegetable farming, benefiting from a dam and farm inputs provided by the EADF. In Dwaleni, Zanele Kunene runs a thriving broiler chicken business, while Gilbert Dlamini in KaNdinda is expanding his feedlot operation. Meanwhile, Absalom Maseko of Hhukwini concentrates on bean production.
These farmers’ achievements show how the fund is helping to strengthen food security and stimulate economic growth across the Kingdom.
