Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini received American televangelist and spiritual advisor to former US President Donald Trump, Pastor John Mark Burns, at the Private and Cabinet Office in Mbabane on Tuesday evening.

Pastor Burns is in Eswatini for a faith-based leadership summit scheduled for tomorrow. He was accompanied by Mr Mudassah Ahmed, President of the Concordia Forum and a notable figure in global strategic communication, and Mr Joseph Hammond, an award-winning journalist and interfaith advocate.

The meeting centred around Eswatini’s development journey and the role of faith in leadership. Pastor Burns praised the kingdom’s progress and expressed admiration for the leadership of His Majesty King Mswati III. He pledged to use his platforms to promote Eswatini’s reputation internationally and strengthen its image as a sovereign and values-driven nation.

Prime Minister Dlamini used the occasion to convey appreciation for former President Trump’s advocacy for family values and the right to life, aligning these with the kingdom’s own values.
