The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has received a new patrol vehicle from Ubombo Sugar Limited to support its crime prevention efforts.
The vehicle was officially handed over on Thursday, 26 June, during a ceremony attended by National Commissioner of Police Manoma Vusie Masango and Ubombo Sugar Director Muzi Siyaya.
Commissioner Masango welcomed the donation, describing it as a timely contribution toward strengthening policing capacity and improving response times, especially in rural communities. He said such support reflects the role that private sector players can play in community safety.
Ubombo Sugar’s donation forms part of the company’s ongoing collaboration with law enforcement agencies in the Lubombo region, where crime prevention and public safety have been priority concerns for both residents and businesses.
