SEDCO, Khuluma Eswatini hold graduate seminar

Final-year students and recent graduates gathered at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Mbabane on Thursday for a career-building seminar hosted by the Small Enterprises Development Company (Sedco) in partnership with Khuluma Eswatini.

The event, backed financially by Sedco, aimed to give young jobseekers and aspiring entrepreneurs a practical edge as they prepare to transition into the workforce. It focused on helping participants access internships, graduate trainee placements, and business startup support.

Organisers created a direct link between graduates and potential employers through a newly developed database, intended to ease the job search process. Attendees also received training on business development and soft skills—areas often overlooked in traditional academic programmes.

Sedco says initiatives like this are part of its broader effort to support youth employment and entrepreneurship in the country. The collaboration with Khuluma Eswatini reflects growing efforts to prepare graduates for a competitive and fast-evolving labour market.
