King Mswati III travels to Madagascar and Japan

Antananarivo – His Majesty King Mswati III arrived in Madagascar tonight for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) 45th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government. The King, accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMatsebula, landed at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo, where they were received by Madagascar’s Prime Minister Christian Louis Ntsay on behalf of President Andry Rajoelina.

The summit will gather regional leaders to deliberate on matters of peace, security, and economic cooperation within the bloc.

After his engagements in Madagascar, His Majesty will travel to Japan to take part in the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), which focuses on strengthening trade, investment, and sustainable growth partnerships between Africa and Japan.
