Soweto– Kaizer Chiefs have officially added two new forwards to their squad for the 2025/26 season, confirming the signings of Etiosa Ighodaro and 19-year-old Luke Baartman.
Ighodaro, 24, joins Chiefs from Mamelodi Sundowns, having previously spent time on loan at University of Pretoria, Chippa United, SuperSport United, and AmaZulu. He will wear the number 50 jersey and is expected to strengthen the team’s attacking options.
Baartman, a former Cape Town Spurs player and South African junior international, was confirmed as Chiefs’ ninth signing of the season. Both players’ arrivals come after the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee declared Baartman a free agent, clearing the way for the transfer.
Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jnr welcomed the duo.
