SOS Children’s Villages Eswatini has signed a partnership with the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) aimed at equipping children with sporting skills, promoting social cohesion, and giving them opportunities to participate in organised football.
The memorandum of understanding was announced this week, with the organisation noting that the initiative would not only expose children to soccer but also encourage youth engagement and community development.
National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Eswatini, Ms Andile Nhleko, expressed appreciation to the PLE, saying the collaboration would strengthen efforts to provide children with a nurturing environment. She stressed that the partnership aligns with the organisation’s mission to ensure that “no child should grow up alone.”
