World Vision showcases food security projects at trade fair

On Friday, September 5th, World Vision Eswatini marked day eight of the annual Trade Fair by demonstrating how its initiatives are strengthening food security across the country.

The Livelihoods Technical Programme team displayed innovative approaches supported by the Global Environment Facility-Small Grants Programme and the Ministry of Agriculture. These projects include rehabilitating dongas and promoting natural regeneration to protect and conserve farmland.

Visitors also learned about the importance of indigenous seeds in providing sustainable and nutritious food for families. Musa Maseko, a teacher at Enhlanhleni Nazarene Primary School, brought a variety of indigenous vegetables and seeds to show how the school supplements regular meals to improve children’s nutrition.
