Police chief attends Interpol assembly in Morocco

Marrakech, Morocco – The National Commissioner of the Royal Eswatini Police Service, Mr Manoma Vusie Masango, is in Marrakech, Morocco, participating in the 93rd Session of the INTERPOL General Assembly alongside other police chiefs from the SADC region.

The meeting, which runs this week, focuses on Morocco’s role as a regional security hub in North Africa and the Mediterranean. Delegates are discussing ways to strengthen international cooperation against terrorism, cybercrime, and organized crime.

Key topics on the agenda include faster sharing of biometric and criminal data, improved border security, tracking trafficking networks, expanding cybercrime investigation capabilities, and developing regional training and operational platforms.

Joining Commissioner Masango are Deputy National Commissioner Ms Mumsy Dlamini, Inspector Bhekumuzi Ginindza, and Sergeant Tsepo Ngwenya, representing the Royal Eswatini Police Service.
