Siteki police are investigating two armed robberies targeting a 54-year-old man from Malindza.
The latest incident occurred on 27 December 2025 at around 10.40 PM. Four unknown men reportedly confronted the victim, threatening him with a firearm before stealing E23 000 in cash, a Samsung A05 phone valued at E3 000, cellphone chargers and clothing worth E5 050. The total value of the stolen items is E31 050.
This follows a previous attack on 14 December 2025 at approximately 9.40 PM, when the same man was robbed by five armed men at Malindza. They took his Toyota Legend 45 silver grey car valued at E300 000, a Samsung A15 phone worth E3 000, and E1 500 in cash. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned. The total loss from the first attack was E304 500. 
Police have launched an intensive investigation into both cases, noting the attacks appear to follow a deliberate pattern.
