DUBAI – Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Mmiso Dlamini held two bilateral engagements yesterday Tuesday, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, focusing on expanding cooperation between Eswatini and the United Arab Emirates.
Dlamini met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah, where discussions centred on building and strengthening relations between Eswatini and Fujairah. The talks covered possible areas of cooperation including trade and investment, agriculture, renewable energy, tourism development, logistics and port services, education and cultural exchange, with both sides expressing interest in partnerships that would deliver shared benefits.
During a separate meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister discussed issues of mutual interest between Eswatini and the United Arab Emirates. The engagement focused on boosting bilateral trade and investment, with optimism expressed around finalising cooperation agreements in sectors such as agriculture and tourism. 
The discussions also included considerations around favourable visa arrangements aimed at strengthening people to people interaction, easing business mobility and supporting institutional cooperation between the two countries.
