Swakopmund, Namibia – The Eswatini Revenue Service wrapped up a strong showing at the Southern Africa Inter Revenue Administration Games 2026 held from April 3 to 5 in Swakopmund, Namibia, collecting medals across several sporting codes during the awards ceremony.
Competing against revenue authorities from across the region, Team Eswatini Revenue Service delivered podium finishes that added to the country’s growing reputation at the annual tournament.

The ERS pool team claimed gold during what officials described as a memorable night of celebration. The table tennis team secured silver after a tightly contested competition, while the chess team earned bronze against strong regional opponents.
The netball team also finished third to take bronze, drawing cheers from supporters who celebrated the achievement in song.

In athletics, Phindile brought home a medal in the women’s 10 kilometre race during the 10 kilometre fun run, further boosting Eswatini’s medal tally on the track.
Team ERS brought home gold in pool, silver in table tennis, and bronze medals in netball and chess, rounding off a successful campaign in Namibia. Athletes were commended for representing Eswatini with pride, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the games.
The tournament, hosted by the Namibia Revenue Authority, featured teams from Eswatini, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Angola and South Africa. As the curtains closed on SAIRAG 2026, attention has already shifted to the next edition, with Eswatini preparing to host regional counterparts on home soil.
